AACN Chapter Member for 50 years of Broward County Chapter!!!

Kathy is a significant contributor to nurses' professional development and education. She served as an educator, and clinical nurse specialist, mentor and assumed many roles serving the nursing community and promoting nursing excellence.

Chapter President in 1976-1978
Obtained her CCRN in 1977
Chapter Advisor for Region 7 in 1982-1985
Chapter Coordination Committee member
Local, Regional, and National Speaker
Served in the Novice Critical Care Nurse
Advisory Team in 2002-2003
AACN’s CIRCLE OF EXCELLENCE WINNER: AACN Mentoring Award. May 2003

I can think of no one more deserving of this special honor! It has been my honor & privilege to have known you both professionally & personally for the past 47 years!
You have been one of the special Mentors that have helped me develop into the Nurse I am today! You showed me the passion for professional knowledge, education & growth!
